Coinscious Inc. builds artificial intelligence and data-driven insights for the cryptocurrency market. Coinscious delivers compelling, informative analytics to the cryptocurrency community and uncovers hidden insights and patterns from the data behind the scenes. Coinscious is focused on helping the cryptocurrency community make informed judgements through its services.

Coinscious was established in 2018 and in Canada, Europe and China. Coinscious uses sophisticated financial engineering and quantitative technologies, such as statistical modeling, machine learning, market structure, and risk management techniques, in order to facilitate the maturation of the cryptocurrency market through various tools and data services.

Tom is a 20-year IT expert with extensive experience in fintech startups, providing data analysis and forecast services related to foreign exchange, equities, mutual funds, and stock market. Successfully led the development of a number of core banking systems, wealth management systems and payment systems. Specializing in high-throughput & low-latency distributed systems, big data analytics, semantic search engines and blockchain technologies.

Daniel is a founder and CEO of AIFounded Inc and also a research scientist at Janelia research centre (one of the world’s largest neuroscience research centre). Previously, Daniel researched at MILA (one of the world’s largest deep learning labs) under Prof. Yoshua Bengio and Dr. Roland Memisevic. Daniel studied computer science and Mathematics at the University of Toronto and received his M. Eng. from the University of Guelph under the supervision of Prof. Graham Taylor.

He is a seasoned senior product manager who has built fintech, payments, and fraud prevention solutions for clients in the online igaming industry. Binh is a futurist who believes in the 200+ year potential of blockchain technologies. He has served as a blockchain and fintech consultant to startups such as Blockstream.

Janson has been an advocate of blockchain technology since 2009. He has engaged and managed the operation of a number of private equity funds pertinent to cryptocurrencies. Janson has contributed to the introduction of cutting edge technology, the popularization of blockchain, and the development and implementation of new trade strategies of cryptocurrencies to the local market through his previous work for several large website and software companies.

Research Scientist at DeepMind

Caglar Gulcehre is a research scientist at DeepMind. His research interests include deep reinforcement learning, imitation learning algorithms, natural language understanding and fundamentals of the deep learning algorithms. His current primary area of research is algorithms for deep and reinforcement learning. He finished his Ph.D. at MILA under the supervision of Yoshua Bengio. Previously, he has worked at IBM TJ Watson Research Center, Microsoft Research and Maluuba.

He is a former financial risk manager at KPMG Canada and steering committee member of the Blockchain Risk Research Group for the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Academic Director of NextAI, Professor at University of Guelph

Graham leads the Machine Learning Research Group at the University of Guelph. His research includes statistical machine learning and biologically-inspired computer vision, with emphasis on deep learning and time series analysis. He is Academic Director of NextAI, a Toronto-based accelerator for early or idea stage AI-enabled startups and was named one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2018.

Nakul spends his time focused on machine learning, algorithms, and theory. His primary area of research is machine learning and high-dimensional statistics. Nakul worked at Amazon as a research scientist and also worked at Janelia Research Centre, one of the largest neuroscience research labs in the world.
